The animals spoke softly On that silent night; Pure joy found them their voices As they beheld the light. The little lamb said, "Glory," And all the oxen praised Cows whispered, "Alleluia," For they were all amazed. A miracle had happened And they could not contain The joy they felt within their hearts; They sang the glad refrain. Along with all the angels, The animals did sing, For perfect love on earth was born, Our Lord, the Child, the King. As He nestled in their manger, They sang their lullaby, And the voices of the angels' chorus Filled the still night sky. Welcoming the new born Babe And praising God above, For He sent His Son that night As a sign of His great love. Micheline Hull Dolan used with permission

She gave birth to her firstborn Son. She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

It Happened On a Starlit-Night It happened on a starlit night, That Christmas long ago, That changed the world forevermore And set our hearts aglow. It was a night of miracles, A virgin giving birth, And angels bringing messages Of peace, goodwill on earth! It was a night that shepherds Left their flocks to see The Prince of Peace arriving For His nativity. It was a night that Magi Saw the brand-new star And began their quest to see Him, To worship Him afar. It was a night of miracles The world would come to know, It happeded on a starlit night, That Christmas long ago. Clay Harrison
