| Why does God love me? Why does He care? I know I'm not worthy, but He's always there. He's kept and protected me all through the years, And loved me and coddled me and calmed all my fears. It's not what I am or am going to be, It's what God is, that's why He loves me. He sent forth His son to die in my place, And made me His child because of His grace. It's not what I've done, or ever can do, That makes life exciting and everything new. It's the faith that He gave me and the truth that He showed, How I'm counted as sinless because Jesus' blood flowed. And that's why I love Him and serve Him each day, Because I know He loves me and He'll lead the way. I can trust Him and know that His will is the best. There's no need to worry. In Him I find rest. How long will God love me? How long will He care? At the end of forever God's love will be there. He will always be caring, protecting and leading, And giving me all that He knows I am needing. | God is there to catch you. He won't let you fall too far. He'll put His arms out to grab you, He'll be wherever you are. He will softly stroke your head And listen to all you say. His hand will be reaching out for you, Just lift up your hands to pray. He will take away your sorrow, If it's way too much to bear. He will gently soothe your aching heart, Just ask and He'll be there. He won't ever leave you All alone to grieve. Find Him;seek Him;go to Him, And then, you will believe.
