| Dear friends, we'll see you in the morning when the dark clouds fade away, We'll see you in the morning, when God brings us to that new day, We shall not forget you, nor the offense done unto thee today, And we shall all Pray for God Almighty to have His turn, and His say. We mourn your dead, and for your great loss, our hearts have unshed tears, But they shall not be wasted on scum of the earth throughout the years, For we will prepare for that regal coming of our Savior above, And watch closely that our hearts forget not how to love. America is grieving at the heartbreak for the many who are gone on, But fear, evil ones, their Savior has come and taken them home. You could have done nothing, had He not let you, don't you know? Just as He gave His own life for us two thousand years ago. He could have stopped you, but there is a reason that's known to Him only, And I know it breaks the heart of the many who are left lonely, But He will come again in the morning, in a silver lined Holy cloud, Then we shall hear you begging evil one, not softly, but aloud.
