Kings and Kingdoms all pass away
nothing on earth endures, but
the love of God who sent His Son
is Forever and Ever Yours.
Jesus Christ Lord and Saviour
Born on Christmas day
He would be a sacrifice
There was no other way.

God prepared his only son
To be a mortal child
His life was already written
He only had a little while.

God gave the child to Mary
Hand picked she was the one
She held the greatest glory
Jesus Christ God's only son.

The angels spoke with Joseph
He was the chosen one
Then they told the story
Of Mary and her son.

Joseph stood by Mary
They hurried on their way
To reach the town of Bethlehem
The child was on his way.

Born in a manger
That's how it had to be
The child's name was Jesus
He came for you and me.

Glory was the chorus
As the angels sang their song
Jesus came to save us
The shepherds sang in song.

The star that shined so brightly
In Bethlehem that night
Was there to guide the people
Through the darkest night.

Long, Long ago in a land far away
There came the dawn of the first Christmas Day
And each year we see that promise reborn
That God gave the world on that first Christmas morn
For the silent stars in the timeless skies
And the wonderment in a small child's eyes
The Christmas songs the carolers sing
The tidings of joy that the Christmas bells ring
Remind us again of that still, silent night
When the heavens shone with a wondrous light
And the angels sang of peace on earth
And told me of the Christ Child's birth
For Christmas is more than a beautiful story
It's the promise of life and eternal glory.

To fall in love with God
is the greatest of all romances;
to seek Him,
the greatest adventure;
to find Him,
the greatest human achievement
