| Father God Before I lay me down to sleep And fall into a slumber deep Hear this little prayer of mine for our Government, Pastors, Military Families left behind and for the enemy(s); All those who are helpless and lost I ask for a special Blessing. For those on land and sea and air ... Who fight for freedom here and there Please Send special blessings from above and protect our Men and Women Serving in the military, with your shield of love. Return them safely, we humbly pray for the Land of the Free And the Home of the Brave... AS WE ACKNOWLEDGE AND TRUST IN ONE GOD... REMEMBERING CALVARY AND YOUR LOVE. I sit at home and wonder Why we must take this path, Our children and our loved ones Must endure the wrath; Why can't we all just get along And love one another? God says always believe in Him Let no man put asunder; God Bless our troops and keep them safe In Your precious loving arms, Be with them through their rugged path Keep them safe from harm; Bring them safely home again We wait with open love, And pray that God watches over them From His home in heaven above author unknown |
