Kings and Kingdoms all pass away
nothing on earth endures, but
the Love of God who sent his son
is Forever and Ever Yours
God shows His love at dawning,
In birdsong symphonies,
In warming rays of sunshine
That filter through the trees.
In soft and balmy breezes,
Grass sparkling with the dew,
In many ways God whispers,
"I made this world for you."
He gives us gifts of beauty,
Surrounding day by day,
The flowers in the gardens,
The wildflowers by the way.
The sky so blue above us
With fluffy clouds of white,
Gay butterflies that soar by
And thrill us with delight.
Majestic purple mountains
And mirrored lakes of blue,
The rustic country roadways
Just meant for strolling through.
The rainbow after showers,
The happy, babbling streams -
God's tokens of His love speak
In countless ways it seems.
God shows his love at twilight
When peacefulness pervades,
He speaks in splendored sunsets
As shades of evening fade.
So much God gives His children,
How sad His heart must be,
When some rush through their living
And do not hear ... or see.

What will tomorrow bring?
I'm sure that none of us know
So guard each word from your lips
And be careful of seeds you sow.
Be caring and kind to all you meet
It won't cost you so much as a penny
A gentle touch, a tiny smile
Can bring happiness to many.
Smiles are free and so is love
So let's pass them around and share
Let's keep the kindness in our hearts
To show we'll always care.
Be as gentle and wise as an eagle
As you go from day to day
Offer comfort and friendship to all
Whom you meet along the way.

To fall in love with God
is the greatest of all romances;
to seek Him,
the greatest adventure;
to find Him,
the greatest human achievement.
