Kings and Kingdoms all pass away
nothing on earth endures, but
the Love of God who sent His Son
is Forever and Ever yours.
As the nails pierced His hands, for you and I,
The lightning blazed across the sky;
The temple curtain torn asunder,
As angels watched in solemn wonder.

"My God, where art Thou"?  He cried aloud,
As jeers and taunts arose from the crowd;
And then a peace surrounded God's Son,
The final victory had been won.

Where Oh death, is now thy sting?
Did Satan to you, a victory bring?
What say you Satan, King of Lies?
God's glory now lights up the skies.

Never again do men have to die,
For Christ our Savior reigns on High;
Eternal life is ours you see,
For Christ has won the victory.

No greater love did the World see,
Than Christ my Savior, dying for me.
Nailed to the cross for you and I,
As angel's tears rained from the sky.

"Not My will, but Thine be done".
These the words from the Father's Son.
As He hung from the cross in agony;
Suffering pain for you and me.

As the spear of death pierced His side,
He lifted His eyes to His Father above.
"Forgive them Father"....was His cry;
Showing all the depths of His love.

And on the cross that day,
Our sins God did forgive;
With His death Christ showed the way,
He did ~ so that we might live.

That He did not die in vain,
This will always be my quest.
I will tell of His love and glory,
'Til I find my Eternal Rest.

To fall in love with God
is the greatest of all romances;
to seek Him,
the greatest adventure;
to find Him,
The greatest human achievement.
